Stephen Lewis Secondary School

Boundaries: Check to ensure that you live in the Stephen Lewis Secondary School attendance area by checking the boundary map, or phoning the school at 905-326-7994 ext 184 or the York Region District School Board 416-969-8131.
If you do not live in our attendance area and wish to attend our school, you must complete a transfer request form. The deadline for transfer requests is March 1. Transfer requests received after that date will only be considered if space and program are available for residents of our attendance area first.

Registration packages are available in the Office. The office is open Monday to Friday from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm.

Once you have completed the registration package, call to schedule an appointment for an interview. A parent or guardian must accompany the student in order to register. Please bring the documents listed below with you to support your application. Please arrive at the school 10 minutes prior to your interview time. Sign in at the main office upon arriving to the school.

Proof of Residency: Bring one of the following

Current property tax bill from the City of Vaughan
MLS purchase agreement or New Home Builders purchase agreement
Lease/Rental agreement with home owner’s property tax bill from the City of Vaughan

If you are new to Ontario, you must first register with the York Region District School Board’s Reception Centre, 10909 Yonge Street, Suite 201, Richmond Hill 905-883-5241.
Visa Students must contact the Admissions Officer at 905-883-0047 ext. 307.
Once you have had your appointment at the Reception Centre, please call the Guidance secretary to make your registration appointment at Stephen Lewis Secondary School.

If Special Education support is required, please provide the appropriate documentation (Individual Education Plan and Psychological Assessment).
